EBBE Drains Installed by tile contractor using, rather than replacing, existing plumbing assembly.

EBBE Square Drains replace the old round drain and are easily installed by the tile contractor.

The generic drain assembly is inexpensive and often already plumber supplied.

This is installed by the plumber because unlike some competitive products, EBBE designer drains do not require a special fitting.

The generic assembly easily breaks down into the component parts. The EBBE Square Drain replaces the riser portion of the standard drain.

Note that the tile installer need only remove the old drain riser assembly and replace it with the new
EBBE Square Drain.

Benefits to Contractor:

  • 4" square module is the same size as a 4" square tile. Most jobs with 2" or 4" tile do not require any cutting.

  • EBBE Square Drain insert takes less time to install- It's like screwing in a lightbulb.

  • Not supplying the PVC, the contractor is not involved in the plumbing and gluing.

  • Instead of removing the entire fitting and installing new, the tile contractor uses the old generic PVC that is already there.

WOW! Why didn't I think of this!!

This is the completed assembly as it will be mounted in the shower fitting.

The black portion is the EBBE Square drain as it screws into the existing white fitting.

Why complicate a simple job. Just install the grate. Avoid plumbing the shower.

The drain grate pulls easily out of the grout. The grout goes against the grout rim but not against the drain grate.
